1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website (greendaygroceries.in) and the physical self-checkout kiosks located at Greenday Groceries, a sole proprietorship business operated by Deepak Senguttuvan, having its registered premises at No. 5, Seniar St, Kottucherry, Karaikal, Puducherry — 609609, India.

By accessing our website, purchasing produce at our store, or completing payment through our smart kiosks, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.

2. Description of Retail Services & Products

Greenday Groceries is engaged in the retail sale of fresh farm vegetables, seasonal agricultural produce, and related consumer goods.

Our in-store automated kiosks allow shoppers to weigh agricultural produce on certified digital scales, calculate item prices automatically, and complete instant checkout via Unified Payments Interface (UPI) dynamic QR codes powered by authorized payment gateways (including PhonePe).

3. Weighing, Pricing & Billing

• Variable Weight Billing: Fresh vegetables are sold on a per-kilogram rate basis. Final billing amounts are determined by the precision weight captured on the electronic weighing scale.
• Currency: All listed prices and transactions are in Indian Rupees (INR ₹) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• Price Revisions: Prices of perishable agricultural goods fluctuate based on daily wholesale market arrivals and are updated daily. The price displayed on the kiosk screen at the moment of weighing shall govern the transaction.

4. Payments & Security

All digital payments at our kiosks and online platforms are processed securely through certified payment aggregator partners (such as PhonePe). Greenday Groceries does not store your UPI PIN, debit/credit card numbers, or sensitive banking credentials.

Once payment is verified by the payment gateway, a digital transaction confirmation and tax invoice are displayed on the kiosk screen.

5. Customer Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

Customers utilizing our self-checkout systems agree to:

• Place single vegetable varieties on the weighing platform during active classification.
• Ensure the scale is zeroed (tared) before placing items.
• Not tamper with or damage the physical kiosk hardware, touchscreens, optical sensors, or cabling.
• Verify items in the cart before initiating UPI payment confirmation.

6. Limitation of Liability

Greenday Groceries and its proprietor, Deepak Senguttuvan, shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from payment gateway technical downtime, bank server timeouts, or temporary connectivity interruptions. In all events, our aggregate liability shall be limited strictly to the transaction value of the order in dispute.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to our retail operations or website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. The courts located in Karaikal / Union Territory of Puducherry shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
